My passions are the National Parks, road tripping, and the arts. (Not necessarily in that order, depending on the day.) And I’m based in Tucson, AZ, so I’ve included some of that here as well.

NATIONAL PARKS
Ken Burns's documentary, The National Parks: America's Best Idea - Don't blame me if it gives you a serious case of wanderlust.
I support the National Park Foundation and you might want to, as well. It's at the forefront of protecting, expanding, and enhancing the U.S. National Parks. Their free newsletter is loaded with good information about visiting the Parks.
My current ride is a Roadtrek Zion SRT van, and it's a dream. Easy to drive and park, comfortable for me and the dogs, and you can even stealth camp if needed.
Road Trip America - Tons of information here about planning your North American road trip, plus forums and photo shares.
Road Trip USA: Cross-Country Adventures on America's Two-Lane Highways - The bible of road tripping in the USA, the book I wish I would have written. A must.
RV Travel - Everything you need to know about going on the road with an RV. The free weekly newsletter is particularly good, and it doesn't hurt that Chuck Woodbury, who runs the site, is a truly nice guy.
I absolutely love Wildsam's field guides and road trip guides - beautifully written and illustrated, informative, and fun.
Women RV - A supportive, fun bunch of women gather on this site, and offer loads of information about RVs, campgrounds, and all things pertaining to life on the road.
Escapees RV Club - My home base for all things nomadic. Community, mail service, free parking finds, and some of the most generous road knowledge you'll ever find.

ART + ARIZONA
Arizona Highways - If you only know Arizona from passing through, you're missing the good stuff. This magazine has been photographing and writing about the state for a hundred years, and the road trip guides alone are worth the subscription. The whole archive is online now, too.
Center for Creative Photography - One of the finest photography collections on the planet happens to live in Tucson, and admission is free. The Ansel Adams archive is here, along with rotating exhibitions that never disappoint. Go on a Tuesday. Thank me later.
Tohono Chul - Gardens, art galleries, and a bistro on 49 acres of Sonoran Desert. It's my favorite kind of place - you come for the plants and leave having seen a show.
DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun - The late Ted DeGrazia built this gallery with his own hands, and it's exactly what the name promises: art in the sun, free every day, and gloriously un-museum-like.
